This not totally fresh news but I must say that Tony Hawk’s latest skateboarding video game “Project 8” looks awesome, just check out the trailer below. Ok so I know that the game probably won’t look anything like the trailer but it will still probably be pretty cool. Project 8 is said to be released in Q4 this year.

From Antix Media comes “Midwest what!” a snowboarding movie from the midwest. “Midwest what!” is the result of a year and a half of shooting and a lot of work. The film is a collaboration from crews, riders and muscians all over the midwest, without any sponsors or pros. The DVD will be available in september.

“Our goal: to produce a full-length snowboard film capturing exactly what snowboarding is here in the Midwest.”

Here´s some pics from the latest iDiom serie – this time in grayscale!

iDiom is a collaboration between Burton and the Japanese streetwear legend, Hiroshi Fujiwara. You could compare it with the collaboration between Gravis and Stash, but less western culture oriented.
The iDiom line mostly consists of clothes, but they also include some boots, bindnings and boards in their line every year. It´s kind of back to basics but at the same time on the edge. The products are hi tech all the way. They use Gore Tex and are extremly light weight. Still the iDiom products are more popular off the pist (meaning on the streets). Still, didn´t we spot Shaun White and the U.S team wearing iDiom pin stripes during the olympics…

The best way to get your hands on these sought after jackets (and pants) is as usually ebay. Altough The-Glade sometimes can offer some jackets at a very high price.

Thirtytwo announces a new boot coming this fall, the Timba. I think they look pretty nice but I wouldn’t trade in my Salomon fltd just yet.

To the great joy of all Stockholm skaters the Swedish capital just got its new skate park.
“Humlan”, a old spot which only consisted of a mini ramp now holds a full street park with curbs and every thing else you might need.
The premier session was presented by the swedish brand WE and swedish skateboard magazine Giftorm.
