“Last Winter” is a collection of short snowboard stories from around the world. ChunkyKnit who did “Dropstitch” last year invites you to take part of adventures from last winter.

Produced not only by the ChunkyKnit film crew but also the riders themselves. Last Winter includes a Romanian mountain hut trip, an Olympic documentary, back country snowboarding in Scotland, a bad weather trip to Japan as well as lots of quality snowboarding. The film will be released september 1st.

Freakside is the name of the latest surfing film by Jamie O’Brien, filmed by Tim Reardon. The premier is June 30th in San Diego, until then you can watch the teaser.

Burton have this really cool webservice where you can design your own snowboard and buy it. The artistic freedom is not totally free, but you can do pretty much.

First you choose the board model you like and length, then you choose a theme and from that theme you choose different styles, logos, patterns and colors of the base, top and sidewalls. You can even put your name on the base if you like. The only downer is the price. This customized version of the vapor below costs almost 11.000 SEK that’s about 1450 USD, but it’s a cool idea though.
