It’s time to make up your mind. Go with the flow (Nike SB-hysteria) or stay with Vans.
In the latest spree of collabs we have the magnificent Neck Face who has teamed up with vans for probably this years best shoes. As you can see it’s all classics, TNT, Era and the Sk8 hi. A must have. See more at Footurama
At the same time Nike SB has let their top riders (Rodriguez excluded) design their own shoes. Some good and some bad. These sweeties will probably sell out in no time, as with all Nike SB shoes (except the best sk8-model from Nike so far: the Angus). Nike Skateboarding
Etnies celebrates the release of Dropping Daylight’s latest album “Brace yourself”, by giving away some free stuff. You can win an Epiphone Signature 2 Guitar and gig bag, a signed CD, a custom Dropping Daylight skateboard deck and a pair of shoes. All you have to do is to sign up.
Here’s a longer video clip of the mega ramp contest that took place in Mexico city in April. As we all know Bob Burnquist pulled of the front flip and Danny Way the back flip. In this clip we also see some footage of Bucky Lasek, Andy McDonald, Chad Kagy and others. I said it before and I’ll say it again, that ramp is just ridiculous.
From Absinthe films who made, Vivid, Saturation, Pop and Futureproof comes “More”. This time they have incorprated some urban riding. I prefer powder and backcountry but some rails can be cool to watch. According to Absinthe this movie will bring you closer to the action with the new “Hover-Track” Jet-Pack camera system. We’ll see about that in september when the DVD will be released.

Bustin Boards sells longboards which you put together yourself. You choose the type of board you want, the artwork and the colors of it, trucks and last the wheels. They look pretty nice and supposedly handle well to. I like the idea of customizing you own gear, even if the possibilities aren’t endless it’s still a nice touch.
