Child Support is a snowboarding film from StepChild and Nomis. The film features both StepChild and Nomis teams with riders such as Simon Chamberlain, Stian Solberg, Markku Koski, Mike Ranquet, Lauri Heiskari and many ohters. The film will be out in september. Check out the teaser below.
“Let it ride” is a film about the legend Craig Kelly, his life and dedication for snowboarding. He died 2003 in an avalanche in Revelstoke, B.C. I was actually B.C. when it happened and remember that it was all over the news, I just couldn’t believe it.
Let it ride! documents the early days of the sport, the rise of Craig to the top, his worldwide travels in search of happiness and his deication in sharing his experiences by becoming the first accredited mountain guide on snowboard.
From Runway Films comes an all girl snowboard film with riders such as Victoria Jealouse, Tara Dakides, Laura Hadar, Leanne Pelosi amongst others. The film with not only contain snowboarding it will also give you a more personal look at the riders. The film will be out in september this year. Check out the teaser at their website.
“I am: Danny Way” is a documentary about Danny Way, skateboarder extraordinaire. Danny has jumped the great wall of china, dropped from a helicopter to a vert ramp, dropped from the Las Vegas Hardrock Hotel guitar to a vert ramp, done the first back flip in a mega ramp and so on. Check out the 2007 DC Mtn Lab teaser, featuring riders such as Eddie Wall, Lauri Heiskari, Devun Walsh, Travis Rice and Bjorn Leines but no Travis Parker who has pulled a Scotty Wittlake and left the professional snowboard scene. Check out the teaser below, the entire film will be out fall 2007.
