Louie Fountain gives Ashbury two thumbs up!
Ashbury Eyewear is another exciting new company that is driven by snowboarders. By snowboarders for snowboarders has been sort of hyped word. But with Ashbury it´s the truth.
On the team we find Nima Jalai, LNP of Rome fame and one of our all time favourite riders Louie Fountain. So in other words – it´s a sick team! So far Ashbury goggles have been quite hard to get in Europe. So it´s really nice to see that swedish distributor Stuntwood recently picked up Ashbury.
Keep your eyes out for Ashbury goggles. It´s sure to be huge.

Some people like it loud, I’m more into not so loud clothing and more natural colors but I have to admit that some colorful clothes look really nice.
Maybe it’s time to spice it up a bit and dress more fun. Below are two similar sets, that probably works pretty well if you want to be seen and spread some joy and light around you.

New awesome snowboard movie from swedish über hipsters Appertiff. A great movie to build up the pre season pepp. See this and start dreaming about the coming white fluff. So far this is the funniest snowboard film we´ve seen since the Airblaster flick August.

Now this is a simple and easy invention. With the Boarddock you can easily hang your board (any board will do: snowboard, skateboard, kiteboard – well maybe not a surfboard or a windsurfing board) up on the wall.
When you need to use your board, just “open” the hangers (with open we mean just turn them). We´ve tested to hang our own boards on our swedish walls and besides some drilling it works really well.
The Boarddock has been on the market since -06. You can get the Boarddock from Rixon for almost nothing. A good buy if you ask us!

Up in the northern parts of Sweden the resorts are starting to open one by one. Swedish distributor and snowboard enthusiasts Stuntwood is celebrating the early winter and the first snow by starting a competiton. Stunt of the month – each month the best stunt/trick/bail is given a price from Stuntwood. I guess we can expect goodies from the likes of Signal Snowboards, Zion Snowboards and of course Airblaster!
This month the price is a Airblaster legbag. Quite a rarity these days…
Stunt of the month please note that the competition is only open for swedish shredders…

I’ve been trying to understand why Burton made the Love series, but I just can’t understand it. Apparently it’s some collaboration between Playboy and Burton. The graphics on the four different models are of vintage Playboy centerfold girls.
I read an article in the swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that Burton Team rider Mikkel Bang is forbidden to compete with the board in some American resorts due to it’s “provoking” graphics. Ok that’s kind of stupid unless the ban is for the bad taste, not the nudity, but I doubt that.
Perhaps the idea was to push the envelope, provoke people and get media to write about it. I just think it feels so outdated and tacky, in a bad kind of way. What were you thinking Burton?
