Thirty Two Outerwear

thirtytwo

Finally it´s here – the outerwear range from Thirty Two. There´s been a lot of talk about these jackets (and pants). As with all snowboard companies these days some of the stuff is made out of recyceld materials, some are high tech. And of course you can get the gear in bright elektro colours as well as in down to earth basic colours.

Check this video when JP Walker shows off with some new outerwear:

Holden Outerwear site for 0910 launches…soon

Holden Outerwear keeps on postponing the launch of the new site. Must be some major changes that awaits us. Hopefully not as hi tech with flash as previous years…

Zimtstern grand opening

Zimtstern is opening a flagship store in Zurich. Great brand, great city. Go there – tell them that kink.se send you.

Loreak Mendian f/w 09

Bascian surf and streetwear favourites Loreak Mendian just updated the website. Here´s the new stuff for autumn (fall for all you americans) and winter 2009 – 2010. Nice stuff. Give it a look. It´s already in stores in Spain and should hit the rest of European retailers soon.
You`ll find a nice catalogue with all the a/w stuff here.

Nike Snowboarding: Kaiju

nikesnowboarding

With Nike Snowboarding boots in its second year this is the big thing. As usual Nike is using the zoom air sole. Apparently the Nike boots are really comfy and soft. The Nike boots seems to be more freestyle focused than a lot of others brands. Some of the reviews from last seaqson stated that the Nike boots are really good for walking in. Not something I would put as most important. Nike Snowboarding will probably go big this year. A great team and products that seems to sell themselves. For bad and good.

Flux Bindings 09/10

flux0910

Flux Bindings is back for 09-10. Some years ago there was a big discussion on the Internet (mostly US sites and blogs) about “how legit” Flux are. Yes they are made by a Japanese comapny and apparently this Japanese company has, or used to have, connections to the car industry. But so what? You have your American brands as well as your European and Asian.

Anyway myself I rate Flux to be the best bindings I´ve tried. The Super Titan is the choice for me. Sure it´s a close call with Union Bindings – especially The Contact. So if you need some new bindings try Flux. I think that Flux is going to be big this year. Especially regarding the all star American team they have.

In Sweden – contact Permafrost for details on how to get your own pair of Flux Bindings.

Holden Outerwear 0910 is here!

holden0910jacket

The Holden range for 0910 is now live. The web site is launched on sept 7, but you can already see the whole range in the web shop.
As usual it looks really good. From the pictures it looks like this season Holden is more about a relaxed fit. But I guess you can always size down if you still want that skinny look that was so popular last year..

As we´ve reported before the Patch jacket is back. And the fit looks better. Also it´s really good to see that two way zippers is the new standard.

Also there is a big sale on the gear from last season.
