Norwegian super shredder joins Nike 6.0. The 6.0 label hasn´t really made it in Europe. I guess it has to do with the fact that Nike SB still is both hyped and still a bit rare. The snekaers from the 6.0 is a bit more common.
Habitat Skateboards are releasing their shoe line early 2010. What we´ve seen it looks really good.
This package is called The Super Nova Project. And first of all – it´s super limited. With only 20 sets world wide you´ll probably never see anyone shredding in this style. The set concists of a nice jacket, a pair of snowboarding boots, your average NB sneakers and a cap. For a full story on The Super Nova Project please see Mike West´s blog.
But there´s also a collab between New Balance and 686 on some snowboard boots. And these are easier to get.
Norwegian trick kid Andreas Wiig signs with Forum After 3 years with Nitro he has now left the company. It most be a bit of a shock for Nitro. Especially since they paid Omatic a lot of money to get him those 3 years ago.
The big talk now is if Wiig will leave Vans as well. Usually the Forum team riders goes “all in”. So what´s up next for Nitro? Rumours are suggesting they might try to involve some of the L1 riders. Maybe Nima Jalali?
Koston is wearing the Janoski´s. Good to see. We even think this is great. The big question is if the first pro shoe for Koston on Nike will be a dunk, or a new model.
