Here’s a sequence with Richie Jackson from the movie “Escape from boredom”. Richie is currently living in sydney and rides for Death Skateboards. He pulls off some pretty cool stuff, like riding down an escalator. He looks like he’s from the seventies and his skateboarding is kind of old school too. Kind of weird for a guy born 1985.

Both JP Solberg and Gigi Rüf have their snowboards for sale at eBay. Why you might wonder, well the boards are donated and the earnings goes to construction of a skate park in mammoth in memory of Jeff Anderson.

Both boards are Burton UNINC, different lengths though. Gigis board is used, autographed and it have some art drawn tribute to Jeff. The boards comes with a letter of authenticity. The auction ends in 12 hours, so hurry up and buy! (or at least bid)

A seventeen year old snowboarder died in an accident in Pinzgau, Austria. He was riding off-piste when he fell and landed head first in a ditch. His friend tried to pull him up repeatedly but wasn’t able to. When the friend had gotten help and they dug the boarder up he had suffocated. The friend were treated for chock and a hand injury he sustained during his efforts to save his friend.

After being injured and being in coma CR Johnson have made some huge progress in his recovery. Although most of the progress have been made in bed, regaing consciousness and so on. He can’t sit up on his own and have limited movement. The neural rehab and the hard work getting back is about to start.
