If you want to be able to reel your skills like Napoleon Dynamite you should check out the “Book of cool”. The book is actually a set of DVDs and a picture book.
So what is it? Well it’s basically an instruction video of how to pull of some various tricks, like how to yoyo, BMX, footbag, juggling, bar flairing, frisbee or how to impress at the office with some cool pen tricks. I think it’s a really cool idea. Who doesn’t want to learn some sweet skills.

About Snowboarding have listed their favourite boots this season. One of the most important gear when you’re riding is your boots, if your feet aren’t comfortable it’s no fun. So pick your boots with care. Number one is Salomon F20, and although I haven’t tried the other shoes I’ll probably agree with them. Salomon F20 is the best boots I ever had.

Mathieu Crepel was in great form the entire contest and took home the victory and $5000. Risto Mattila took second place, Frederik Austbo third and Eero Ettala fourth.
His pipe run constisted of BS 7 entry over the kicker followed by back-to-back 1080s to Frontside 9 and Backside 7

January 28th starts the 10th winter X-games in Aspen/snowmass Colorado. EXPN.com have an article of the first five invited female skiers to the SuperPipe event. Two of the girls are Sarah Burke and Kristi Leskinen, both battled out in FHM last year. In the second wave of invitations are Michelle Parker, Jamie Sundberg and Jen Hudak.

The pro photographer showdown is considered as one of the largest photo contest in the action sport and lifestyle genre. The showdown with the top five photographers is held in front of 2000 people and an international tv audience. The winner walks away with $10 000.
New for 2006 is that the contest is open for any action/lifestyle photographer in the world. The top five photographer will be flown into whistler for the gala showdown on april 19th.
