Mammoth had a massive dump, but it’s snowing in Japan as well. Since december 53 persons have died and 760 have been injured in snow related accidents. Many locations in Japan have record-depth of snow and it just keeps coming. The snow is 4 metres deep at some locations, burrying street light, first floor apartments, rail roads and pretty much everything. The peak is usually in february so more snow is expected.
