Shralp! is a site that provides the latest news from the snowboard scene in video format. The videos is produced together with “Blank paper studios” who made “91 words for snow”. You can watch the video news in all different kind of file formats, mov, mv4, mp4, wmv and 3gp. In other words you can watch it in all kinds of devices, iPod, PSP, mobile phone and so on. The fifth annual Maverick surf contest were held on tuesday. Twenty four world class surfers and waves with 30-40 foot faces. The contest if often labeled “the most dangerous surf contest on the globe�. This year the contest was won by the 32 year old south african Grant Baker. He walked away with $30,000 in prize money and is the first international surfer who has won.

For the first time in Europe this type of contest will be held in Laax, Switzerland the 16th of march.

The competitors will drop from a crane down to a quarterpipe. The qualifying height is five metres and by each round the platform will be heightened by one metre until only one remains. You are eliminated if you either fall upon landing or bow out. The crane is able to extend to 20 metres.

One of the coolest jackets this season if you ask me comes from Special Blend. The mens model is called “Snow Patrol” and the womens is called “Mod”. The jackets comes in different colors and patterns but the pink plaid pattern is the one to pick if you want to be seen. The jackets costs about $240.
