DigiWall is a digital climbing wall from the swedish compan Digiwall Technology AB. The wall interacts with climber through lights and music. The grips have sensors that locates the climber and remember the path. Games like “Pong”, “Audio memory” and “Collect Grips” are some of the available programmed games.
The O’Neill Verbier Xtreme competition took place a while ago. They have a nice best action of the competition video on their website. Some pretty insane lines in there. Winners on skis were Kaj Zakrisson and Giulia Monego, on snowboard the winners were Ruth Leisibach, Cyril Neri (judges award) and Xavier De Le Rue (riders award)
“That” is the name of a new snowboard movie from Forum. The movie will be released this fall so you have a while left to wait for it. Forum team riders in the movie are Peter Line, JP Walker, Devun Walsh, Joni Malmi, Lauri Heiskari, Travis Kennedy, Pat Moore, Jake Blauvelt, Cheryl Maas, Stevie Bell, Eddie Wall, Iikka Backstrom and Jake Welch.
Danny Way has announced that he’ll bomb drop the huge guitar at Hardrock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas april 5th. Danny will drop down 20-30 feet onto a 45’ high landing ramp, finally hitting the massive 27’ quarter pipe on the other side. If he manage to land it he will shatter the old “Highest drop on a skateboard” record.
Some mutation of the skateboard pops up now and then and disappears without a trace. Well here’s one odd mutant, skateboarding without the board itself. The company behind the product is called “Freeline Skates” and one set costs $129.
