Maverick surf contest
The fifth annual Maverick surf contest were held on tuesday. Twenty four world class surfers and waves with 30-40 foot faces. The contest if often labeled “the most dangerous surf contest on the globe�. This year the contest was won by the 32 year old south african Grant Baker. He walked away with $30,000 in prize money and is the first international surfer who has won.
